ABSTRACT The modulation of the intensity microwave emission from a plasma slab caused by standing linear kink fast magnetoacoustic wave is considered. stretched along straight magnetic field, and can represent, for example, current sheet in flaring active region corona Sun, or streamer pseudostreamer stalk. density non-uniform perpendicular direction described symmetric Epstein profile. parameter β taken to be zero, which good approximation solar coronal regions. mildly relativistic electrons occupy layer within oscillating radiate via gyrosynchrotron (GS) mechanism. Light curves were simulated optically thin part GS spectrum, their typical Fourier spectra analysed. It shown that response magnetohydrodynamic non-linear. found that, while light at node oscillate with same frequency as perturbing mode, oscillations antinode two times higher than oscillation frequency. Gradual transformation one type another occurs when sliding antinode. This result does not depend on width GS-emitting inside slab. finding should considered interpretation quasi-periodic pulsations stellar flares.
